1. No one is out of your league. There are no leagues. Anyone can get with anyone, and you’re only hurting yourself by thinking that you can’t: you absolutely can.
2. Rejection is not a bad thing. It means you tried. There are very few people in this world who never got rejected, it builds confidence. If you like him/her, go for it, and if you get shot down, it’s okay. The important thing is that you stepped up and tried. Good job champ, way to take some risks.
3. Be yourself. Always, and fuck anyone and everyone who doesn’t like you for being you. It’s ok to have enemies, it means you stood up for something. Play your video games, watch your anime, smoke your weed, make a fool of yourself. There is no reason for you to ever care what anyone else thinks about you. Do this, and when you find someone, they will mean more to you and you to them then you could ever imagine.
4. Enjoy being single. Girlfriends and Boyfriends are awesome, and so are you. Don’t mope around when you don’t have a significant other. Instead, focus on improving yourself. Study, Work, Work out, Practice your hobbies. Until the day you get married, you are the most important person in your life. A boyfriend/girlfriend should be an addition to your already awesome life, and you to theirs. PRACTICE THAT SWAG
5. Love is real, and when you feel it, you’ll know, so don’t fake it. The words “I love you” are extremely powerful and you would be wise to not toy with them. Love is also rarely instantaneous, it takes awhile to build. Don’t throw yourself at anyone and don’t fall prey to anyone throwing themselves at you.
